Interior Renovation
Elena Ramirez
Elena Ramirez wanted to give her dated and dimly lit living room a fresh, modern feel that better reflected her lifestyle and taste. The original space lacked warmth and cohesion, with bulky furniture and insufficient lighting. Her vision was a light-filled, open space that blended comfort with elegance — ideal for both quiet evenings and entertaining guests.
We started by removing heavy drapes, repainting the walls in a warm off-white tone, and refinishing the floors with a matte oak stain. A neutral-toned, low-profile sofa was paired with a soft area rug and a modern coffee table to establish the core of the seating area.
To add personality and cohesion, we introduced warm orange accents: a rust-colored throw blanket, an abstract artwork with burnt-orange tones, and a textured terracotta vase. Recessed lighting and a statement pendant fixture added both function and ambiance. Greenery and open shelving brought balance and softness to the space.
The redesigned living room now feels open, calm, and beautifully composed. Elena was thrilled with how the room was transformed into a versatile space for reading, gathering, and relaxing — all while reflecting her modern, refined taste. The blend of natural textures, modern lines, and orange warmth gave the room a renewed sense of life and identity.
